The Good Part of DST (Daylight Savings Time)

Today’s Observation:

While I do enjoy having longer days, I have to admit it is nice to wake up in the mornings and the sun is already up. Alas…winter is fast approaching. Waking up to 37 degrees this morning was a little on the “ouch” side of warm, but bearable because I do not mind colder weather as long as I have the sun, kind people with warm hearts and 70 degrees in December! The temperatures will still reach into the 60’s today and that is reasonable for this time of the year. Short of moving somewhere like Hawaii or Southern Florida it is the best I am going to get on the 3rd day of November in Texas, but I will take it! 🙂

I also love Sunday mornings. While I sit here writing this blog, my hubby is fixing our traditional Sunday morning breakfast. It is always a new creation depending on what we have in the refrigerator. But he will usually take it and make something delicious with eggs and cheese as part of the ingredients. Today it is onions, bacon, apples, goat cheese and eggs and a wonderful frittata is already in the oven being “finished off”. He is an awesome cook!

Are you hungry yet?? Have a great day!!
